Telemedicine Has the Potential To Meet Veterans’ Unmet Needs

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) plans to issue regulations to pave the way for VA providers to use telemedicine to treat veterans regardless of their geographic location. Opponents cite concerns that the new regulations could interfere with the states’ power to regulate the practice of medicine.
