Step Therapy Can Be Life-Threatening for Mental Health Patients

Man showing stop gestureSenate Bill 341 (SB 341) requiring step therapy for Kansas Medicaid recipients is being met with strong opposition from those in the mental health field, who say the bill interferes with doctors’ ability to prescribe the best treatment for their patients.
