Conn. Bill Would End Practice Forbidding Pharmacists To Disclose Drug Prices

A proposed Connecticut bill would eliminate a pharmaceutical practice that allows pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs) to prohibit pharmacists from disclosing information about prescription costs to patients. CT S. 445 would ban the ‘gag order’ provisions found in many contracts between pharmacists and PBMs in Connecticut, putting patients before profits. Read more here, and read the bill here.
