Over 50% of Families Say They Cannot Afford Health Care

According to a recent Kaiser Family Foundation poll, the country is split down the middle over their impression of the Affordable Care Act (ACA), with many Americans noting that rising health care costs are a top concern. Nevertheless, 56 percent of families with insurance and a household income less than $40,000 said they still cannot afford health care despite the availability of subsidies. The majority of respondents stated that the most important issues were keeping the costs of prescriptions down and government action to reduce costs.
