Major Insurer Announces ACA Exit in 2018

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City has announced that it will exit the Affordable Care Act exchange in 2018, citing lost profits and lack of sustainability. However, the insurer’s profits have been trending upward over the past three years.
