Health Insurance Reform

Health care costs in the United States continue to rise, and high costs can prevent patients from obtaining the care that they need. Health care expenses now represent roughly one-sixth of the U.S. economy. Broadly, the term health care reform refers to efforts to improve the U.S. health care system to halt or slow the increase in costs while improving the health and health care access of all Americans.
