A new initiative called CancerLinQ will collect and analyze massive amounts of data to provide real-time, quality feedback and clinical treatment support to oncologists through analytic tools. The White House has described the initiative as, “a groundbreaking health information technology (HIT) initiative to achieve higher quality, higher value cancer care with better outcomes for patients.” Full story.
