CMS Loosens Previously Proposed Patient Protections for 2017 Policies

CMS logoThe Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) loosened its final rule on Affordable Care Act coverage policies for 2017. Health insurers will not have to offer standardized options for health plans, and when they design their 2017 doctor and hospital networks, they will not be forced to carry minimum qualitative standards.
