The California state legislature has passed a bill to prevent out-of-pocket costs for prescription medications from exceeding $250 for a 30-day supply and stop insurers from placing most or all medications on the highest cost tier on their formularies. Aimed Alliance strongly supports the legislation to ensure treatments are accessible and affordable for all Californians, and urges Governor Jerry Brown to quickly sign the legislation into law. California Healthline has more information on the legislation here.
