Blue hot key on computer keyboardA new regulation allows the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to fine insurers up to $25,000 penalties for erroneously listing physicians in Medicare Advantage plan directories when such physicians are out-of-network. Additionally, federal insurance exchange plans face a fine of $100 per beneficiary for errors.
