On July 25, 2023, Aimed Alliance submitted a comment to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) on it proposed rule relating to the Medicaid Drug Rebate Program. Aimed Alliance supported CMS’s decision to exclude copay assistance from the Best Price Rule, while also opposing CMS’s proposal to mandate a consumer’s diagnosis be included on their prescription in order for the drug to be covered by Medicaid.
