According to New Lawsuit, CVS Health Allegedly Overcharged for Generic Drugs

On Monday, a class-action lawsuit was filed against CVS Health, alleging that the company colluded with third-party pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs). The plaintiffs argued that pharmacy and PBMs increased the prices of generic prescription drugs by charging co-pays that exceed the pharmacists’ price and profit. The complaint also alleged that customers using insurance were charged a higher price than customers who paid out-of-pocket or did not use insurance to buy their generic medications. Read more here.
