In response to growing public concern over rising drug prices, one of the country’s largest health insurers announced that it will now share with plan participants the discounts it receives from drug companies. Participants enrolled in fully insured group plans who fill a prescription for a drug where the manufacturer provides a rebate will have discounts applied to their medication at the point of sale.
