Aimed Alliance Releases New Fact Sheet on Step Therapy for Texans


In 2017, Texas passed a step-therapy law that placed guardrails on step-therapy policies to protect health care consumers.  Step therapy, also known as fail-first, requires consumers to try and fail on alternative treatments before the plan will cover the originally prescribed treatment. To ensure providers are aware of their rights and benefits under this new law, Aimed Alliance has developed the below fact sheet containing important information regarding Texas’ step-therapy law.
