Newsweek published an op-ed by Aimed Alliance’s Executive Director, Stacey L. Worthy in which she discusses how insurance companies interfere with treatment decisions. Ms. Worthy highlighted a survey by the Doctor-Patient Right Project, which found that many Americans agree that doctors, and not insurers, should play a primary role in driving treatment decisions for their patients.
