Recently, Aimed Alliance submitted a comment to the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services (CMS) on the Patient Listening Sessions related to the IRA Medicare drug price negotiations. Aimed Alliance’s comment urged CMS to genuinely value patient’s perspectives, and lived experiences as it related to the 10 selected prescriptions drugs. Aimed Alliance also urged CMS to expand the number of listening sessions to ensure CMS had a diverse representation of patient and provider perspectives that included representation from underserved and minority communities.
