Connecticut Attorney General Shares Concerns on Unregulated Cannabis

The office of the Attorney General recently announced a crackdown on unregulated THC products, like delta-8. Earlier this year, the Connecticut Attorney General filed lawsuits against five retailers, alleging that each was illegally selling delta-8 THC products that resembled “youth-oriented snacks and candies.” The Attorney General also sent these same retailers additional warning letters reminding them that any electronic vaping products containing more than 0.3% THC were only allowed to be sold via the regulated cannabis market.

The Attorney General was also concerned with the packaging of these products, which make them more appealing and potentially more dangerous to youths.
