Aimed Alliance Urges Wisconsin Lawmakers to Pass SB 203, “Cole’s Act”

Aimed Alliance recently sent a letter to Wisconsin Senators expressing support for SB 203, “Cole’s Act,” which would ban the use of copay accumulator programs in Wisconsin. These programs prevent the value of copay assistance from counting toward a patient’s deductible or out-of-pocket maximum, forcing many individuals, especially those managing chronic or rare conditions, to pay thousands of dollars more each year to access their prescribed medications. By requiring health plans and pharmacy benefit managers to count copay assistance toward these limits, SB 203 would help ensure that patients can afford and adhere to their treatment plans without unnecessary financial burden.
