Today, the National Health Council sent a letter signed by Aimed Alliance and 250 other organizations to the Chairman of the Committee on Energy and Commerce Fred Upton, Ranking Member Frank Pallone, Chairman Joe Pitts, Ranking Member Gene Green and Representative Diana DeGette, thanking them for incorporating our feedback into H.R. 6, the 21st Century Cures Act. This game-changing legislation is a “patient-focused bill that will advance the discovery and development of treatments, strengthen the patient voice in the regulatory environment, increase funding for the National Institutes of Health and Food and Drug Administration, and greatly improve our innovation ecosystem.” The full letter can be found on the National Health Council’s website.
