Amy Sargeant, a 28-year-old UK woman defied the odds and gave birth to triplets at the end of last year, despite living with cystic fibrosis. Although Ms. Sargeant was only expected to live until age 30 when she met her partner Craig, the two have been together since they were teenagers and have always wanted to raise a family. Ms. Sargeant is the first person living with CF in the U.K. to give birth to triplets, making this a historic event.
