Connecticut Becomes Tenth State to Pass Copay Accumulator Program Reform

On June 2, 2021, Governor Ned Lamont signed SB 1003 into law, making Connecticut the tenth state to pass copay accumulator program reforms. The new law requires both health plans and pharmacy benefit managers to count third party payments toward the plan enrollee’s cost-sharing requirements. Read the bill here.
