A new report by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) shows that rural areas have lower incidence rates of cancer than urban areas, but higher death rates. The differences in death rates may reflect disparities in access to health care, and diagnosis and treatment in rural areas. Read the full report here.
