The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) reports that under the MacArthur Amendment of the American Health Care Act (AHCA), 23 million more people will lose their insurance by 2026 compared to the current health care system. The CBO report also projects that the legislation would result in $32 billion less of a cut to the federal deficit than the previous version of the AHCA. Read more here.
