One of California’s insurers has proposed a change of its commercial plans that would urge consumers to pick “preferred” pharmacies. A California insurer aims to create a tiered network of pharmacies with “preferred” ones that would maintain the current year’s copayment amount in an effort to lower costs, creating a more narrow pharmacy network.
