The Hill has published an op-ed by Aimed Alliance’s Director of Public Policy, Stacey L. Worthy. Ms. Worthy urges policymakers to preserve Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategies (REMS). She notes that while patient safety should be prioritized above accelerating the development of a limited number of generic drugs, increasing drug development and guarding patient safety are not mutually exclusive.
