On October 7, 2024, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) issued a Request for Information (RFI) to inform the development of the 2026-2030 National HIV/AIDS Strategy and the National Strategic Plans for Sexually Transmitted Infections, Vaccines, and Viral Hepatitis. In response, Aimed Alliance submitted feedback outlining key recommendations to strengthen public health through improved vaccination efforts.
Our feedback emphasized the critical role of vaccines in protecting individual and community health. We advocated for increased investment in local community outreach, clear guidance on emerging diseases and ongoing risk management, evidence-based vaccine policies, and efforts to combat misinformation through multilingual, accessible public health education.
