On February 24, 2020, the New York Health Care section of POLITICO featured the op-ed authored by Aimed Alliance Counsel Stacey L. Worthy, which was originally published in the Gotham Gazette on February 21, 2020. This op-ed discussed the need for New York to take additional steps to enforce consumer protection laws related to health care, including prior authorization and step therapy laws. These findings follow the recent publication of an Aimed Alliance report titled “Utilization Mismanagement: Assessing Compliance with Step Therapy and Prior Authorization Laws in Select States, Survey Findings from New York.”
