The COVID-19 pandemic demonstrated how the use of technology can help ensure that patients have access to the care they need when they need it. In recognizing that technology in healthcare, and specifically, telehealth, will be part of the health system’s future, Aimed Alliance is excited to announce that it has developed a new page relating to our positions on telehealth coverage and access. Aimed Alliance’s new webpage includes our positions on telehealth issues relating to coverage and access, in-person requirements, provider types for visits, originating site, interstate compacts, audio-only, and health disparities. Future additions to Aimed Alliance’s telehealth page will include resources relating to the expansion and coverage of telehealth, and the development of a map to track state-based telehealth legislation.
