A new study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association reveals a sharp decline in the rate of harmful medical mistakes in the medical profession between 2010 and 2014. Adverse events among all hospitalized adults declined from 145 per 1,000 hospitalizations in 2010 to 121 per 1,000 in 2014, a 4.5 percent decline per year. Read more about the study here.
