A recent opinion piece argues that the U.S. health care system is worse off after the Affordable Care Act because it did not solve many of the systemic issues that have made health care too expensive and inefficient. Because of the health reform law, many of the issues that continue to plague the health care finance model will contribute to our inability to produce high-quality care at a reasonable cost nationwide.
