On May 14, 2019, the National Kidney Foundation and Amarin hosted an event on Facebook Live that focused on educating patients about managing their cardiovascular risk. This event features a conversation between a patient, a nephrologist, and a cardiologist, and is hosted by a broadcast journalist and medical reporter. The event also included a discussion about chronic kidney disease and its influence on cardiovascular health as well as a review of currently available treatments to reduce cardiovascular risk for patients with chronic kidney disease.
