Elderly careAccording to new analysis from Avalere Health, roughly 58 percent of covered drugs in certain Medicare plans are subject to coinsurance rather than flat copayments in 2016. For Medicare beneficiaries, this may mean higher out-of-pocket drug costs, an increased reliance on cost-estimating tools to find out how much they owe out-of-pocket, and fewer affordable options for patients.
