Aimed Alliance Signs on to Letter Opposing New Medicare Part B Payment Model that May Impede Access

Over black background.Aimed Alliance is one of over 50 organizations that signed on to a letter urging Secretary Sylvia Mathews Burwell and Acting Administrator Andy Slavitt to halt a proposed Medicare cost-cutting plan that could “wreak havoc on healthcare delivery, provider stability and patient access.” The letter argues the Medicare Part B Drug Payment Model may negatively affect Medicare patients’ treatment, especially those with complex conditions, such as cancer, rheumatoid arthritis, and macular degeneration.
