Two Washington state health insurers have been identified in a lawsuit for unfairly rationing new hepatitis C drugs based on cost instead of medical necessity. Hepatitis C medicine should not be preserved for only the severely ill; rather, everyone who has hepatitis C should qualify for treatment.
